Being born and raised in eastern Ohio, Michael developed a love for shooting and the outdoors early on in life. It was a passion that helped guide him to join the United States Army in 2005. After his service in the Armed Forces, Michael joined the Peterson Cartridge family as a Night Shift Manager on our production floor. His interest in precision rifles began to grow after attending a few PRS matches as a spectator. Michael began to shoot some local “Know Your Limits” matches to get some experience in the sport. This past season he jumped in headfirst and attended his first PRS match at the GAP Grind. Michael’s work ethic and training paid off as he walked away with 2nd place in the Gas Gun division.
When not on the range training or competing, Michael enjoys spending time with family and friends. He also enjoys coyote and whitetail hunting when he has the opportunity.
