Want to get into subsonic rounds?
If you want to load subsonic rounds, Peterson Cartridge has the casings for you. Peterson casings are ideal for subsonic rounds. As you know, for all the rounds in the box to stay subsonic after the trigger is pulled, there needs to be almost no variation of internal volume from casing to casing. Muzzle velocities need to be almost identical from shot to shot.
We’ve been out on the range with subsonic rounds—from other ammo companies—and our experience goes as follows; Maybe the first shot is quiet, the second is quiet, then “bang” then quiet, quiet, quiet, then “bang”. Most are subsonic, but not all.
